This year, our daycare centres are once again taking part in the wonderful Christmas parcel drive organised by Hamburger Abendblatt hilft e.V.. Every year, about 8,000 Christmas parcels are sent to needy, sick and often lonely people in old people's homes, hospitals, advice centres, food banks and homeless facilities. The Christmas parcels also contain self-painted pictures and small handicrafts made by the children, which make the Christmas parcels very special. Our kindergarten children got straight to work and painted. The pictures are decorated with a lot of glitter, so that "they also have such beautiful glittery hands like we do now, when they unwrap the picture"...
