A chance for students in Hamburg
Financial and non-material support as well as network contacts

The Hamburg Stipendium has been awarded by the Studierendenwerk Hamburg since the winter semester 2018/2019 and recognises Hamburg students who successfully complete their studies from special life situations.

In the first years of funding, the scholarship supports students with a refugee or migration background financially as well as ideally: the scholarship holders each receive 150 euros per month; in addition, they have the opportunity to participate in events as part of a scholarship holder network and to establish valuable contacts with institutions and companies.

Support the Hamburg Stipendium!
Get on board now!

You can support the Hamburg Stipendium with your company as a sponsor from as little as 2,800 euros per funding year. As a sponsor of the Hamburg Stipendium, you will have the opportunity to get to know the scholarship holders at events and to win them over for various forms of cooperation.

A sponsorship also entitles you to appear as a supporter of the Hamburg Stipendium and the Studierendenwerk draws public attention to your commitment as a sponsor on its homepage, social media channels and as part of its press work. The design of a sponsorship takes into account the individual needs of your company.

Companies, institutions and private individuals can also support the Hamburg Stipendium with a donation. The amount of the donation is freely selectable; the support of a scholarship holder for one sponsorship year is possible for 2,400 euros. For tax reasons, donations are always made without publicity.
