Located at the new location of HafenCity University - University of Architecture and Metropolitan Development (HCU) - Mensa HCU offers students and employees of HCU a varied and delicious menu: In addition to antipasti, meat, vegetarian and partly vegan dishes, you can also enjoy fresh pasta and pizza.
The special atmosphere with a view of the Elbe invites you to linger.
The Mensa HCU is barrier-free. Tray trolleys are available for wheelchair users.

Cashless payment with the HCU chip card, with debit or credit card.

 

Pay quickly and conveniently with your HCU chip card at the cash registers in the HCU cafeteria and in the HCU café. HCU has issued its employees with chip cards, so-called Mifare DESfire cards. The cards serve as employee ID, door opener (key) and payment card. In cooperation with the HCU, the Studierendenwerk has introduced the function "Pay with chip card" for the students and employees of the HCU at the cash desks of the cafeteria and cafés.

You can get the chip card at the HCU, which is responsible for issuing, personalizing and swiping the chip cards. You can revalue the card at the chip card revalidators in or in front of the respective cafeterias and at their cash desks. Paying out remaining card balances is currently done through HCU chip card administration. If the chip card is lost or stolen, please report the loss to HCU.
