Do you love music? Then the Esther-Bejarano-Haus housing complex is the right place for you. In the numerous isolated music rooms, most of which are equipped with pianos, you can play music to your heart's content without disturbing your neighbours. The in-house bar, which is run by the residents themselves, provides for musical events. In the games room next door you'll find table football and a pool table.
There is a fitness room on the ground floor. You can also train in the sports hall of the nearby Rudolf-Laun-Haus.
The Esther-Bejarano-Haus residential complex has been completely renovated 2020. You will have a furnished room in a 2- or 4-person flat-share and share the kitchen and bathrooms with your flatmates. Of course, single flats are also available. Internet, water, electricity and heating are included in your cheap all-inclusive rent. Coin-operated washing machines, dryers, a drying room and bicycle parking area are also provided. In the outdoor area you will find a table tennis table.
On site, you will be supported by the house manager, tutors and the student self-administration.
The monthly rent for a 1-bed flat is 415 €, for a single room in a 2-bed or 4-bed flat share between 351 € and 397 € per person.
The rent includes utilities such as heating, water, electricity, etc. as well as the costs for internet access, cable TV connection and the fee for the use of the music room.
For students who need a room for a period of less than half a year, rooms for short-term rent are offered at a higher price and with additional services. These are allocated by the Central Short-term Rental Office.
Located in beautiful Lokstedt, our Esther-Bejarano-Haus offers you a central location and at the same time enough peace and quiet to study. You can be in Eimsbüttel in no time at all, and it's not far to the University Hospital Eppendorf or the University of Hamburg. You can spend your free time at Hagenbek's zoo or hop on your bike and reach the Volkspark or Niendorfer Gehege in just a few minutes.
